A moderate fee, which varies according to the extent of nursing attention required, is charged to parents or guardians of patients.

This, however, does not cover the costs of upkeep and expansion. The home is therefore largely dependent on donations from the public, in order to cover the costs of running a sound and efficient establishment.

Many of the patients have no means of support, although some of them receive a government disability grant which is made payable to St Luke's.

Please help us to care for them ...
any donation you give will warm their lives.

The management of the Home rests with a committee of at least seven members, appointed by the Association of the Friends of St Luke's. This is comprised of a voluntary body of individuals and corporate members who have the interests of the home at heart, and who are ultimately responsible for the running of St Luke's.

St Luke's cannot survive and fulfill its much needed function in providing a suitable home without financial support from people like you.

The committee is appointed yearly by the Association at its Annual General Meeting. Headed by a chairman, the committee meets monthly in controlling the affairs of the home. Also appointed by the Association are three trustees, elected for terms of office of three years each.
